The Syracuse Post Standard

Coming To America: Actor Dennis Heaphy, a Syracuse native, presents his one man show Friday about the immigrant experience of those who came through Ellis Island for pupils at St. Patrick’s School 210 Schuyler Street, Syracuse. He’s playing the role of an immigrant, Boris Krasnikov, who left his home in Russia and came to America to begin a new life. Heaphy presents his show regularly at Ellis Island in New York City. Behind Heaphy, Tyler Barnes raises his hand; sitting next to Tyler is Evan Pitonzo. They are both forth graders at the school.
